Jerry Lewis Under Fire For Homophobic Statement Comedian Jerry Lewis apologized Tuesday for using a gay slur during his 21-and-a-half-hour Labor Day Telethon for Muscular Dystrophy, according to CNN. Lewis used the slur during hour 18 of the broadcast, when he pointed to a camera and called it “Jessie, the illiterate f-g.”
